Ordained and then Endowed with power

The last few weeks have been full of spiritual experiences. On May 30th, Adam was ordained to the Melchizedek Priesthood and to the office of an Elder by his dad.

Then on Saturday, June 10th, Adam and his cousin Tanner, went to the temple to receive their own endowments. It was such a special day to be in the temple with these 2 cousins that are leaving on missions next month. In the temple, Adam and Tanner had their parents, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles there with them, and Adam's Grandpa Taylor and other deceased family members were felt to be there as well. It was truly a day where the Holy Ghost was felt so strongly and everyone felt so blessed to be in the temple with these valiant young men.

After the temple we ate at Cafe Rio. It was fun to be with family!

Then on June 16th, Adam was able to go through the temple for Ernest Jennings in the Newport Beach temple. Ernest is the youngest of 10 children and we just found his mother's name (MaryTaylor, Adam's 3rd great-grandpas sister)  on a random piece of paper last July right before we went on our church history trip. We were able to find his information while we were on the trip and be baptized for him in the Nauvoo temple.

Adam gets his mission call!

March 25, 2017
After waiting 2 long weeks, Adam's mission call arrived!!!

Adam was with his friends in the mountains, so it was so hard to wait for him to come home to open his call!

Here he is ready to open it! But it looks like he may have already started to open it...???

Everyone was ready to hear where and when he would be going!

He was called to the Oklahoma Oklahoma City Mission!!!! He was to report to the Provo, Utah Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, July 12th!!! As soon as he read where he was going he got emotional and he knew Oklahoma was exactly where Heavenly Father needed him to go.

So many family members and friends came to hear where Adam was going on his mission. Everyone was so excited for him!
