Just Believe

This week has been so cool!  No crazy off the wall miracles but just all the poeple we've been meeting and the lessons we've been teaching and the people that are progressing! Some good lessons we taught and just some fun stuff happening! We found some new investigators this week and we have a pretty solid teaching river of 15 people right now. We have so many doing so well. I'm so grateful to be here!
Rachelle is getting baptized today so we are way pumped about that! She is so awesome!!!!

We had a cool event on Thursday night with President and Sister Mansell there. We had President come and answer questions that people had asked or did ask that night. It was way cool. The turn out was not nearly as great as we were hoping for, but it was still really good, we had some nonmembers come and listen to President.

This week has just been fun! We were in a trio for a bit because of one of our missionaries in the zone was going home. That was fun because we split the area  like crazy with members and just met tons of people and taught a lot too.

The greatest lesson I've been learning recently is the importance of just having faith. Just believing. We come across lots of things in life that are hard and that puts us out of our comfort zone. I experience that a ton as a missionary haha. Sometimes things are put into our paths that are just overwhelming and we try and search for ways to get around it. But I think Christ puts it the best in Mark. He says to Be not Afraid, only Believe. In another instance he tells us that all things are possible to him that believes. Hebrews 11 and Ether 12 speak of those who have gone through sore trials and hard things, and how did they do all these things? Through merely believing. Beliveing that they could because of their belief in a Savior who could help them. Because of their belief in a Father in Heaven who believes in them. And it really can be that simple. Just believe and cast all doubts aside.

Love you all!

One of the missionaries this week that serves on OU campus with Elder Wold wrote: “One of the most spiritual experiences I've had so far on my mission was on Monday night. Since it was an all day P-day we got to all stay and hang out till 9pm. We got to the members’ house with the bonfire and all split up doing our own thing. Some went to the little pond off to the side to go fishing, some went to the zip line, some went to the chairs to talk and play their instruments that they brought. But then once the sun went down and the fire was started a group of us wanted to sing some hymns while Elder Wells played the ukulele. Then eventually everyone was over and we were all singing hymn after hymn. As I sat there in this circle of missionaries the spirit was so strong! We are all 18-21 year old kids trying our very hardest, working until we are exhausted each night, scared out of our minds each morning, and earestly trying our best to do the Lord's work. We could've easily just sat around and
talked but instead we all gradually sang hymn after hymn after hymn. It was such a special moment and I don't think I will ever forget it.”

Unicycle Girl

Heyo! We've been doing fantastic over here!

I’m doing good! Been working hard, finding lots of new people! We have some solid investigators right now who are so awesome!!  They are progressing well. Carly, Rachelle, Carter, Jeffrey, Ryan, Beth, they are all doing great!!!!

We/ I have been teaching super well, still room for improvement, but I can feel the Spirit backing what I say.

I know I am improving tons out here, you  ain't gonna recognize me when I get back. I have really stopped worrying about dumb things recently and I just trust God lots more. It's cool when you get a grip on reality, things become a lot better and you can do so much more. The reality being that I'm called of God, that I'm a son of God, that my message is literally the most important thing in the world, and that I have so many gifts and abilities that God has given me to help others that I need to focus on. Everybody needs to know that too. The Plan of Salvation is a favorite to teach now with this in mind. We're all created uniquely for a special purpose, we have the ability to learn and grow from each other and eventually become like our Heavenly Father some day. OSooooo cool!!

We went on splits last night and Jared and I talked to some people, but they weren't super interested. Later on, we ran into a girl unicycling on the other side of the oval. Jared said to me that he could unicycle, and so we bounced real quick over there. He showed her how to do it and then we got talking to her. She opened up big time and shared she would like to learn more! We're meeting with her Wednesday!!! Later as we were walking away, Jared told me how he realized tonight just how easy it is. All we did was unicycle with a girl and talk to her.

I just think it's so cool! Literally just being a friend brings up the gospel! Something in what people say will always have something you can relate the gospel to. And sometimes all you gotta do is be an example and they'll ask you. It's real easy! We just need to be prepared to share! We need to step up and look for those oppurtunites!!! We have the most important thing to share! People need to hear it! I'm not asking
you go tracting or that you do anything
 like that, but I

am asking that you are prepared the next time somebody asks you about our church. Have those missionaries number ready. Invite them to church! Have a pamphlet, a Book of Mormon or something!!! Testify of a principle, help them have a spiritual experience!!! It really isn't that hard if we are looking and we're prepared!!!

Sorry, i just love this. I'm pumped up by the work of my Master! Literally the most fun thing I've ever been a part of.

Elder Wold

P.S. I love those 2 boys that helped Ryan. I'm tearing up over here too. Thank them for me. That's being a true disciple right there. That's following spiritual promptings. As they keep that up, they'll become some of the greatest missionaries and leaders in the church ever. Man I love those two. I look up to those two big time!
