Candy for writing a note

My week was awesome! I got lots of pics for y'all! It's been a lot of administrative stuff so far still, but we had some time on exchanges to work our area!! And it was awesome!! We met some sweet people and we should be teaching one of them today! It's so funny, my skills to find are still there, but the time to meet back up with people is non existent!! It was weird because at OU I could be like, wanna meet up tomorrow? And now I'm like, well, we can meet on friday at like 2 and then Monday after 5 hahaha. I miss just full time stuff like that, but I love love love working with and strengthening the missionaries! I thrive off of them becoming the best they can be.
I think my favorite part of this week was going to UCO and talking to people with another Elder! It was cool, we met like 4 people in 2 hours who were super solid!!! I was really excited too because we haven't had a whole lot of time to work in our area yet this transfer!!

The picture with the asian lady was hilarious! We were on campus and we saw this girl and she was just standing there with a whole shrine to Ellen Degeneres. We were like, what is this, and she just said it was Ellen's 65th birthday and she was celebrating! She had a journal to write notes for Ellen so me and Elder Leavitt wrote one and then asked her if she was gonna send it to her in the mail or something and she was just like IDK , probably not. And then she gave us bags of candy for writing a note! it was so random and funny!!!

love ya lots!

God lifting us & carrying us

I'm doing well! Honestly now that I think of it, I really don't have a whole lot to report! We have been at meetings all week, watching role-plays on video tape and then watching with the missionaries to see what they can adjust and do better at. So we've been practically watching tv all week haha.

I got to go to Owasso (northeast of Tulsa) and spend time with Elder Jones and Elder Jensen and that was a blast! We saw some cool prepared people and they are solid. We had a lesson on the restoration and the Spirit was felt so strong!!

We also got to go to TU (University of Tulsa), where Elder G and Elder Vogt are serving! It was good to see and be with Elder Vogt again! I love that guy!!

We got this sweet legit basketball hoop,(i'll take a pic of it) this week and mounted it high up on our wall in our apartment. So Elder Scott and I will play horse when we need to wind down after a way busy day before bed! It's fun!

I definitely know what it's like with God lifting us and carrying us. I've been tired this whole week, exhausted at that. Right after meetings, we go straight to exchanges. I had one day that was just almost too much. But I prayed for strength and I made it through and was able to go out and teach and have the Spirit with me still, even though I am just worn out. I have a strong testimony in that too.

I'm doing well! Having lots of fun! Love y'all!

Mission Tour

So my past 2 weeks have been pretty crazy but they've been pretty fun! I've been to Wichita Falls Texas, Midwest City, Tahlequah, Broken Arrow, Norman, OKC, Moore, and Stillwater, so far. Just lots of meeting and exchanges! But it's been a good time and  I've been able to be around a lot of missionaries. And I'm learning tons from each of them!!

School goes back into session tomorrow, so we plan on getting on it way more now!!! I'm so excited, I've missed campus!

I am in a YSA ward here! Pretty small right now but hopefully bigger once school gets back in!

Actually we haven't gotten much snow and when it did snow in Edmond we were out on exchanges in Tahlequah so I didn't really get to see it come down. But I saw the little bit that was left when we got back from interviews!

My responsibilities these last 2 weeks included:
4 Interview meetingsA greenie meeting
4 Exchanges
A mission tour with Elder Ochoa, Elder Teixeira and Elder Harris (I'll talk more on that later that was cool)

It was a good last couple of weeks!! We built a lot of relationships and met a lot of missionaries! I think the most fun part for me was being able to go work in Stillwater last weekend and just go hard with Elder Downing (who's also from Gilbert). It was way fun just going hard tracting and getting return appointments! We taught some pretty cool lessons too and also had to shut down some guy who tried to pretty much tell us we were wrong. It was fun!! Elder Downing is a very skilled missionary and I learned lots from him!

We also got to go back to OKC 3,  2 weeks ago and that was super cool!! I got to see Brother Long, a good friend who was a ward missionary and we just got to work hard over there too. I was with Elder Wright, who was part of my MTC group, and we just had a good time together!
It was so much fun just being back in the old area!

Lots of cool miracles in the mission right now with us missionaries as a whole stepping up our game and giving our best. Elder Teixeira came and spoke to us as a mission yesterday and it was super cool! He suggested some cool new ideas for finding people to teach that I am super excited to try out!

It was cool at the mission tour, just listening to all the general authorities and their testimonies! Such a powerful meeting full of personal experiences and excitement for the work of the Lord! The Spirit was strong in there, confirming that these men were called of God.

I'm loving the mission! Seizing every opportunity I can to share the gospel with people is what I've been working on, especially looking for unplanned opportunities to invite people to learn and check things out!

Love ya!

Infinity side selfie

Sis. Mansell wrote to Mom: “I found the funniest photo and had to share it with you!  Back story: It’s not unusual for the assistants to have my phone and I find all sorts of funny pictures from them on it.
But this one was on an old iphone that we are using to record and playback role plays of missionaries. I was looking for something in the deleted folder and found this. He wouldn’t even expect anyone to have seen it. 🤣”

Sis. Mansell also shared the following pictures:

The Lehenbauer family fed all these Elders, which included Elder Tait, Elder Erickson, Elder Murset, Elder Wallace, Elder Scott and Elder Wold! He wrote: Hello friends! My name is Hunter Lehenbauer! My husband & I had your sons over for dinner tonight. Thank you for sharing them with Oklahoma!! They are making you proud!
