Elder Wold is doing great and watched general conference with Elder Vogt and Elder Kestner and with the Woodward family in Wichita Falls, Texas. He loved Conference and especially Pres. Nelson’s talk about repentance.
They had interviews and exchanges last week and they got to go back to the OU campus. A random guy at OU asked them to come to his class on campus for a project he was doing. He asked them to talk about their beliefs for 5 minutes, so they touched on the restoration. Elder Wold said the students were interesting and they were able to clear up a lot of questions the students had about the church.
A couple of crazy things happened in the last week. His locked up bike was stolen last Sunday while on a college campus. Someone cut through the lock. It’s the second bike he’s had stolen while on his mission.
Also, in Elder Wold’s apartment one night last week, they were woken up at 12:30am by their fire alarm. It started blaring all of a sudden and so they walked around their apartment complex to figure out what was going on. They never figured it out and so they just packed their bags and slept at another mission apartment.
They were also able to go to a baseball game in Tulsa this week on pday. They saw a semipro team called the Drillers.
