Miracles are happening!

What a good week it has been! Elder Tait and I have been having a blast together! We have been pretty busy with school being in session, we're really just trying to pack our days with lessons!
We're trying to teach a lot, that's the goal. These college kids kind of like to flake. We're really searching for those that are ready! We've found a ton of new people this week and they are pretty solid!

We had a cool experience yesterday that was pretty funny but super special. We stopped this guy and talked to him for like 10 minutes. He like opened up and shared his life story with us. There were so many things we could share and connect the gospel to him with right there in front of us. But for some reason, neither Elder Tait and I acted upon it and the guy just said okay bye and walked away when he got the chance. He didn't seem too down to learn, but we just felt as if we missed an oppurtunity. Feeling kinda stupid for not acting on the obvious needs, we were determined to be more focused for the next. Not even 30 seconds later, we stopped a  guy and talked with him. He was on his way to class and was just there at the right time. He shared with us how his close relatives were actually converts of a couple of years to the church and how he actually reads The Book of Mormon along with the Bible already. He said he believed it was true already. We asked him what his next step was and he said he wasn't sure. So we invited him to hear us out and teach him the lessons and he's all for it! So cool!!

I'm doing well. I'm growing in confidence and we're seeing some success. I'm excited to be a part of the work, I've never been so motivated for the work as I have been now!

Tender Mercy

My week was good! I am actually back with Elder Wells now haha! the guy from Wagoner! His companion went home with Elder Van Alfen and so he's with me for a week! We've been doing a lot of finding and teaching! It's been so cool!

I have learned that courage is really a choice, that if we choose to have courage, we can overcome the doubts and discouragements and feelings of inadequacy and become confident.
I've also learned letting the Spirit guide is so important. And that we can't let things dwell when we mess up, just recognize what you want to improve and then move on. I learned a lot this week haha
A tender mercy this week was that OU didn't fall to pieces when I took over! Just kidding! Finding the people we have this week was a tender mercy. Summer semester has ended, so nobody is on campus. But we still find and still teach. We even taught a girl this week who we found the same day and then taught her a couple hours later after work. And she liked it a lot! The Lord has been blessing us because I am committed to find people. I am determined to do this work because I care and I love God. And he's blessing us for going out and doing the best we can. That's been a tender mercy.

I know you all love me! And I love you all too!

Hello!

Hello!
Well my week was way good! The weather hasn't been bad at all! It's been feeling pretty good outside recently!

Still teaching lots and we're having fun! We had a lot of lessons this week and we found like 6 people so far. The summer semester is over so there are less people here that we can teach. But the Lord is blessing us! We're still teaching! School starts August 20th! So we're way pumped to get some cool stuff going on campus!

We find on campus by just talking to people and finding common ground and then teaching basic principles on the spot. Then make return appointments. It's awesome! Keep Rachelle, Hannah, Riddhi, Sarah, Tess and Wagner in your prayers this week. Those are our most solid investigators right now! They are awesome!

We go to a YSA ward on Sundays, it's bomb! That's our congregation we're assigned to. So we're only allowed to teach YSA age people. They are way fun! We got a lot of RM's and some just really cool people!

I am learning so much, I have to step up a lot. My companion goes home in 3 days for school. Not sure what's going to happen to me because the transfer isn’t over yet... But I'm excited to see what happens.

This work means a lot to me, more than it ever has. I'm starting to realize my role in it all.
