What a good week it has been! Elder Tait and I have been having a blast together! We have been pretty busy with school being in session, we're really just trying to pack our days with lessons!
We're trying to teach a lot, that's the goal. These college kids kind of like to flake. We're really searching for those that are ready! We've found a ton of new people this week and they are pretty solid!
We had a cool experience yesterday that was pretty funny but super special. We stopped this guy and talked to him for like 10 minutes. He like opened up and shared his life story with us. There were so many things we could share and connect the gospel to him with right there in front of us. But for some reason, neither Elder Tait and I acted upon it and the guy just said okay bye and walked away when he got the chance. He didn't seem too down to learn, but we just felt as if we missed an oppurtunity. Feeling kinda stupid for not acting on the obvious needs, we were determined to be more focused for the next. Not even 30 seconds later, we stopped a guy and talked with him. He was on his way to class and was just there at the right time. He shared with us how his close relatives were actually converts of a couple of years to the church and how he actually reads The Book of Mormon along with the Bible already. He said he believed it was true already. We asked him what his next step was and he said he wasn't sure. So we invited him to hear us out and teach him the lessons and he's all for it! So cool!!
I'm doing well. I'm growing in confidence and we're seeing some success. I'm excited to be a part of the work, I've never been so motivated for the work as I have been now!
Miracles are happening!
